Feast of Ashes

This technique is a relic of the days when witches would travel the countryside in small roving clans, taking shelter in larger communities when they could.

When the locals proved intolerant, untrustworthy, or just plain inhospitable, the witch would imbue seemingly delicious food and drink with a concoction that invoked terrible ruin upon them.

Eating or drinking such a feast would result in not just degrading the physical health of the victim, but also invite terrible misfortune upon all their works and ambitions.

Their fields would turn fallow, their milk would sour, and coffers would run dry from banditry. In modern times, such misfortunes may also come in more abstract forms. Such as getting scammed while online dating, or getting your credit score tanked. A CEO who eats a cursed brownie may find themselves rocked by intestinal distress as their stock price plummets.

System: a Life 3 effect inflicts the victim with a specified physical debilitation, while an Entropy 3 effect causes the victim to have increased difficulty on all rolls related to their ambitions or desires. If the caster has Entropy 4, such misfortunes can become truly unnatural. Allowing for disparate unrelated tragedies to come crashing down on the victim
