Reveal The Road West

The Aided teach that every soul knows the road to Tech Duinn, yet many lose their way. Grief, unfinished obligations, broken oaths and worldly attachments may leave the dead wandering between worlds long after their appointed time.

Through prayer, song and offerings to the dead, the practitioner reveals the hidden paths that lead westward. For a brief time, the spirit is shown the road to the House of Donn and may choose to continue its journey. Those who refuse are left to wander, but few can look upon the road and remain unchanged.

Effect: Spirit 2 allows the practitioner to engage with a wandering spirit, while Correspondence 2 reveals the route to its next destination. Entropy 2 helps ensure the spirit remains upon the proper path. The spirit may then choose whether to continue its journey. The precise destination remains uncertain; while the Aided teach that all roads lead to Tech Duinn, other traditions dispute this interpretation.
